We celebrated the spooky season by spending Halloween weekend at the cabin with a double feature of Scarce (2008) and The Blair Witch Project (1999). The movie Scarce is particularly special because the majority of it was filmed at the cabin and we watched it in literally the same room where many of the scenes take place.

The wood for this season had been delivered a few days before, so we took some time Saturday morning to stack all of it under the cabin.
The final stack
The weather was absolutely beautiful so we took a hike to Pinnacle Rock in the afternoon and also up to the top of Metcalf Rock to catch the sunset.
