A hot summer day turned into a cool summer night as we watched the sun set on the shore of Lake Ontario. UTOC members new and old swapped stories, made new connections, and shared excitement for trips to come while gathered around Ontario Place’s pyramid shaped fire stand which was great at blocking the smoke from 3 of the 4 sides. A broken skateboard was sacrificed to the flames to give time for Emma to return from an epic quest to acquire more firewood. We talked and made s’mores late into the night and watched the Toronto skyline light up over the water on the way home.
