Cherry Beach Clean Up

The Toronto Nature Stewards lead us through how to pull out invasive garlic mustard and burdock in the forested areas around Cherry Beach. We also learned about some of the history of the area and the stewards’ conservation efforts to help native plants and animals thrive again. While the rain didn’t bother us much while working under the dense canopy, the thunder did put a damper on our plans to swim afterwards.
