We went over to Mimico Creek in Etobicoke where our very own Adam Harris showed us some good spots to hunt for fossils. Wading out into the shallow water, we turned over stones and sometimes split them with a hammer and chisel while Adam gave us a brief geological history of the rocks in the area. We found some imprints of shells and fossils of small sea creatures that lived several hundred million years ago.
